Keep on Moving

In 2020 I realised a lifelong dream to write, produce and direct my own play Keep On Moving

It enjoyed 2 nights of sell-out performances at the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton

About the play

An adopted black boy’s identity struggles and the eventual impact of one song on his future.

Akin grew up blissfully alongside adoptive brothers and sisters. Life is idyllic until a frightening incident changes his whole view of the world. Punks, Skinheads and 80’s pop ruled the scene. Where did he fit in? And how did one song affect his future?
